Mana Hub Whitby is a community space, in the heart of Whitby bringing together people of all different backgrounds to create in clay!

We offer various workshops, courses and wellbeing events. Offering learning for both adults and children, we have pottery wheels and sculpture classes.

Nic Stead, the founder of Mana Hub Whitby, trained in film & SFX in London, to become a sculptor in 2005. Since then, she has travelled extensively with her work, working in industries abroad, creating bespoke sculptures for clients. In addition to working for others, she has maintained to progress her own work, undertaking art residencies in Iceland & Cyprus. Nic has exhibited her work also in London, Wellington (New Zealand), York, Iceland and Whitby. She currently sells her pottery in Whitby and is soon to be exhibiting her sculpture at Staithes Festival of the Arts 12-14th Sept 2025.

Nic also runs wellbeing events, working with Coast & Camplight Glamping Site in Stainsacre, Whitby to deliver full weekends of creative and holistic health workshops for both adults & children.
